ABOUT THE SHORT KING

I am proud to present the first 30 examples of the ShortKing! This is the beginning of an entire ecosystem of chassis systems that use new exclusive link sets, forward facing Gadget transmissions, and aggressive modern chassis geometry. In the case of the ShortKing, it mixes all of this with shorter than normal link geometry to make for an extremely fun and capable package. The short king was designed for three different link geometries to accomplish three very different tasks: 125mm super short to make a 1/24 that is actually 1/24 while still providing a ton of capability, a 133mm deadbolt to provide a wildly capable stock length setup that probably fits in your fanny pack, and a 144mm deadiator setup that provides a little reach but excels in super tight technical courses. Basically, I wanted modern geometry and features, in shorter wheelbases popular a few years back, to blend extreme capability and and transportability.

If this chassis system alone wasn't exciting enough, utilizing the NerdLab for this drop will make this release of chassis as striking as it is effective. This drop not a halloween drop. It is to recognize and honor Dia de los Muertos, the vibrant Mexican holiday where the boundary between the living and spirit world disolves; allowing our ancestors to eat, drink, dance, and celebrate with their loved ones. This is not a holiday of fear or mourning, but recognizes death as a part of the natural life cycle with feelings of honor and celebration.  

-Serial 171 through 180 chassis kits are black titanium chassis rails, black titanium GretaBug cage, black titanium links, and black titanium Gadget transmissions... and IN THIS BATCH OF SERIAL NUMBERS ALL METAL PARTS ARE ENGRAVED. Due to the engraving of the links, the link geometry is preselected.
