ABOUT THE SHORT KING

I am proud to present the first 30 examples of the ShortKing! This is the beginning of an entire ecosystem of chassis systems that use new exclusive link sets, forward facing Gadget transmissions, and aggressive modern chassis geometry. In the case of the ShortKing, it mixes all of this with shorter than normal link geometry to make for an extremely fun and capable package. The short king was designed for three different link geometries to accomplish three very different tasks: 125mm super short to make a 1/24 that is actually 1/24 while still providing a ton of capability, a 133mm deadbolt to provide a wildly capable stock length setup that probably fits in your fanny pack, and a 144mm deadiator setup that provides a little reach but excels in super tight technical courses. Basically, I wanted modern geometry and features, in shorter wheelbases popular a few years back, to blend extreme capability and and transportability. 

ABOUT THE NERDLAB ENGRAVING CHOICES

If this chassis system alone wasn't exciting enough, utilizing the NerdLab for this drop will make this release of chassis as striking as it is effective. This drop not a halloween drop. It is to recognize and honor Dia de los Muertos, the vibrant Mexican holiday where the boundary between the living and spirit world disolves; allowing our ancestors to eat, drink, dance, and celebrate with their loved ones. This is not a holiday of fear or mourning, but recognizes death as a part of the natural life cycle with feelings of honor and celebration.  

-20 chassis, serial 151-170, are available in two colors of 6061 aluminum chassis rails for body in on frame setups, black titanium gadget transmission, and black titanium links of your choice. Only the frames are engraved on this variant. 

-Serial 151 through 160 are gold chassis with a striking white engraving that appears and vanishes depending on the angle. A more subtle touch of custom.

-Serial 161 through 170 are black chassis with a white engraving for a little bolder statement. 

-Please use the drop down to select which link geometry you would like. I have more link sets than chassis to accommodate one link geometry being purchased more than others, but if any link geometry is over purchased past what I have in my inventory I will fulfill invoices in the order received and contact customers past that for alternative link lengths. 

-Serial 171 through 180 chassis kits are black titanium chassis rails, black titanium GretaBug cage, black titanium links, and black titanium Gadget transmissions... and IN THIS BATCH OF SERIAL NUMBERS ALL METAL PARTS ARE ENGRAVED. Due to the engraving of the links, the link geometry is preselected. If you attempt to choose links in the drop down for this range it will be ignored. 

Note: Chassis 151 has a slightly different engraving template for the serial number itself. If you want a quirky one off just for fun, you should aim for this particular kit.
